Smart Metro proposes to introduce an intelligent,wireless connected,centrally-governed,NFC-GPRS back end system which can streamline this process by orders of magnitude.
As opposed to an individual Pass book assigned to each and every grower/producer ,the collection officer can carry a single PoS device to carry out all transactions. Each farmer/producer is provided a single NFC-powered card with a unique identifier. All that is requires to complete a transaction is a single tap by the grower's NFC card on the collection officer's.
PoS device which instantly recognizes and confirms directly the farmers' identity,the type/grade of product being collected,the weight being transacted,payment details etc.This also helps decrease farmer malpractice-related losses to the tea processor.
Via wireless data networks,trading information is transmitted back to a server housed at the data center and is instantly uploaded on to a database ,saving many man hours and overhead costs which was incurred previously in having to manually enter and upload this information.
This mobile application is help for factory owners to see their transactions from any where, any time from their mobile phone.
