By using FuerteCoin you support the local business owners, residents and tourists of Fuerteventura, creating a modern ecosystem that drives the whole economy forward in a sustainable and conscious way.
FuerteCoin also helps to keep Fuerteventura clean by supporting and financing various eco projects, creating new jobs through the Fuerte Market, and promoting sustainable future.
FuerteCoin app is your digital wallet to send and receive FuerteCoins, plus more. It consists of 4 main tabs:
- transactions
The default tab, showing the history of all your previous transactions and the current balance.
- send
Scan the QR code by clicking the QR icon on the top and placing the camera in front of the recipient's QR code. Enter your PIN number and click sent.
- receive
Displayes your FuerteCoin and Waves QR codes. Use it to receive payments from other FuerteCoin users.
- calculator
Shows the current exchange rate against the Euro. Allows you to quickly convert any amount from Euro to FuerteCoin using the current exchange rate.
Also displays the time left until the next FuerteCoin value increase.
Additional menu contains important links and additional functions such as:
- link to FuerteCoin website
- link to FuerteCoin market
- link to purchase FuerteCoins
- map of all businesses accepting FuerteCoin
- backup FuerteCoin wallet
- change PIN
- log out
Welcome screen.
The first thing you will see after downloading FuerteCoin app is the welcome screen. It allows you to:
- create new FuerteCoin wallet with password and PIN
- log in to the existing FuerteCoin wallet
- import the backup seed from the previous wallets (including Waves Wallet)
Back up seed.
We strongly advice you to back up your FuerteCoin wallet as soon as possible.
In case you loose your device, this is the only way to restore your FuerteCoins.
To backup your FuerteCoin wallet, simply click "backup" in the secondary menu, write down on a piece of paper the 15 words you will be shown and store in securely offline.
To restore your wallet on the new device, click: "Import existing account" and input 15 security words in small letters with single spaces between them.
