with just one click, in a matter of seconds. Just start it and you will see the millions of Euros being dumped
in landfills and how many jobs could be generated by recycling these raw materials that are still popularly
called junk.
The importance of this application will be to scientifically quantify and qualify the data, volumes of urban
solid waste generated in the municipalities of Portugal, typifying domestic waste and through reverse
logistics, showing the true values being recovered and also the values lost by not recycling waste. With this
data, governments, companies, entities, institutions, universities can carry out public policies and business
plan with a lower incidence of errors and with less investment in the process of the implantation of
recycling plants throughout the country, not to mention that with the presentation of volumes and values,
can generate an environmental awareness in the main garbage generators of the planet.
