There is a huge trend to complete orthodontic treatment at home using clear aligners rather than visiting the dentist and Strāt Smiles is leaning the way. This requires impressions taken of your teeth and they must be very accurate for optimal results.
An issue encountered by many is a lack of guidance while taking your impressions so they turn out inaccurate, distorted, or the material hardens before the process is complete.
The Strāt Smiles app will first show a video describing every step of the process. Next, you will follow a series of timers so you will know exactly how long to mix the impression material and how long to hold the tray in your mouth.
Once the impressions are complete, you will be directed to take 3 photos of your teeth to upload directly to our staff doctors to evaluate. The photos along with the impressions will help us determine how to proceed with your case.
Using the Strāt Smiles App along with your impression kit will provide the best results possible, allowing our lab to make aligners that fit accurately, are comfortable, and will move your teeth efficiently.
