OUR SCHOOL
Bekal International School was established in 2009 and is administered by Hira Educational and Charitable Trust, a non-profitable charitable organization. The School is affiliated to Vidhya Council For Education, Calicut and National Institute of Open School by Ministry Of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. The School is located in Velutholi 4.5 km away from Pallikere to North-East and 3.5 km away from Periya to the North-West.

OUR VALUES
The values held at the Bekal International School are established by using a holistic approach to learning; one in which the essential elements of achieving human excellence - in an intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual context - are instilled in our students starting at the earliest stages. We aim to raise students who demonstrate impeccable good character along with advanced academic skills and exemplary citizenship.
One of BI’s most important priorities is to develop our students’ cognitive and social skills through integrating moral values with the Alberta learning programs of study. Our school uses the ABC - Keys to Students’ Success model to achieve this as illustrated below:
A- Achievement- We aim to foster high expectations from all students and help them achieve their full potential. This is done through exploring all possible strategies that lead to enhancing students’ performance with increased involvement and collaboration of parents and teachers.
B- Behaviour- Demonstrating positive attitude and appropriate behaviour are key elements to high academic achievement. Our school-wide discipline policy is derived from religious principles that aim to proactively approach unacceptable behaviour through means of student collaboration in order to help analyze their actions and take full responsibility for the outcomes.
C- Celebrating Milestones and Successes- An effective means of motivating students and sustaining success in our school is celebrating student accomplishment. The continuous celebration of success breeds even more success and helps to build student self-confidence, motivating them to achieve higher.
The principal aim of the institution is to mould educationally talented, ethically upright, physically fit and mentally secular citizens. Moral education forms an integral part of the curriculum in achieving this end.
An enviable teacher student ratio ensures individual attention to all students. Students are constantly monitored by means of internal assessments and formal-informal evaluations, the results of which are promptly conveyed to the parents from time to time.
The students are divided into different houses and co –curricular activities are conducted to enhance their competitive spirit. In addition to this, Sports and Games activities and Art festivals are organized every year. They are also given chances to be members of different clubs like Eco club, Health club, Literary Association, Science Club etc.
The School owns means of transport which ensures safe and effective conveyance of its students.
The School has its own store which makes available the prescribed text books, stationary materials and uniform.
Regular parent teacher meetings are held to discuss the academic and general matters which help in channeling the efforts of both the teaching and parental communities in the right direction.
