Shirabe is spaced repetition combined with a Japanese Dictionary. Think a dictionary crossed with Anki on steroids.
After searching for a word, you can request a notification. You will then receive a notification to remind you of the word (both Japanese and English meanings) periodically. By default, in a few hours, the next day, and then again a few days later.
Unlike other flashcard apps, where you need make lists and set aside to study them, Shirabe gives you a simple notification, so you can remember new vocabulary without breaking your normal routine.

How often do you look up a new word you read in a book, or hear it on your favorite drama, only to forget it hours later? With Shirabe's optimized spaced repetition reminders, you'll see the word again in a few hours, tomorrow, or in a week's time, to ensure it sticks.
