The AMEn Predictor allows animal nutritionists to predict the nitrogen-corrected metabolisable energy (AMEn) values of feedstuffs of plant origin used for broilers. The use of this app guarantees an efficient and easy way to predict the AMEn values, on the basis of the results of the multilayer perceptron networks (MLP) in a meta-analysis. The use of an MLP to predict the AMEn values of poultry feeds is a novel approach that leads to precise and accurate estimations. The implemented MLP was developed to predict the AMEn for energetic and protein concentrates, though it is important to emphasise that this app is more suitable to predict the AMEn of the feedstuffs com-monly used in poultry feeds, such as maize, sorghum, soya bean, soya bean meal, wheat and wheat meal.
