How to use
* Fill all mandatory fields (in all slides)

* Read these guiding Notes carefully
* Easy tool to prescribe TPN step by step
1- Select age group & TPN type
2- Dosing weight, select your appropriate option (ABW, IBW, or ABW)
3- Energy requirements (select appropriate equation from 4 options )
4- Fluid requirement (select appropriate equation from 2 options)
5- Protein requirement based on clinical condition
6- Fat requirement – select infusion rate(for 2 in 1 type), concentration and commercial product
7- Carbohydrate requirements, check the estimated requirements then enter your order according to clinical condition (risk of refeeding syndrome, hyperglycemia)
8- Select the concentration and commercial product of AA & Dextrose
9- Compare the estimated calories and the actual calories and the distribution of total calories
10- Order for electrolytes according to lab results and please check carefully the total electrolytes and don’t exceed the dose limits
11- Check CA/P graph, any point below the line, indicate low probability of PPT while any point above the line indicate high probability of PPT, and you should change CA /or P entries
12- Select your additives or omit as per patient conditions or policies
13- Check osmolarity calculator to specify the venous access and NPC:N ratio then edit according to your evaluation
14- Select your monitoring parameters (Initial or follow up)
15- Finally, save the TPN form & labels as PDF file and send easily to pharmacy (by email, or printed Paper)
