MobilitApp records periodic location updates from its users while running in background. The information obtained is processed to find out which is the transportation mode of the user. MobilitApp is able to recognize bus, car, metro, train, bicycle and on foot. Users are also warned of possible incidents in the roads as well as of the traffic flow state.
Users can visualize on a map their location history day-by-day. The user's information is anonymously treated.
