TranscribeIT is an application developed for our thesis project. It is capable of converting speech into editable texts. We added a feature called audio to text. The existing audios on device memory can be imported into the application and be converted to texts. As long as the internet connection is present, clear and accurate results could be achieved.
This is so easy to use. The user just needs to tap the mic to start the speech recognizer and tap stop to finish transcribing.
The following are the capabilities of TranscribeIT:
- Continuous speech recognition. We were able to make it continuous unlike other basic
speech to text applications. It will only stop when the user tap the stop button.
- Audio to text. As long as the internet connection is strong, this feature will be useful.
- Save and delete notes. The saved notes are displayed in the listview found in the main
activity.
- Share notes. The notes are shareable to different applications installed on the device.

Android version not less than 5.1 (lollipop)

Languages
We were able to make it a free form speech recognition but supports only two languages as of now, these are the English and Filipino Language
