Madras College of Pharmacy, Avadi was established in 1995. The college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University. The scope of pharmacy practice includes more traditional roles such as compounding and dispensing medications, and it also includes more modern services related to health care, including clinical services, reviewing medications for safety and efficacy, and providing drug information.
The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
