The Intervalometer was built for the Panasonic LUMIX TZ-xx cameras, but should work on quite a few other wifi enabled Panasonic cameras (please let me know if you have success with your model). I have tested on the TZ-60 and others have reported success with the cameras listed below, but most of the Panasonic range should be compatible. Many of these cameras do not have a time lapse feature built in and there is no way to take a series of photos at regular intervals. This is a shame. I built this app to enable time lapse functionality on these wifi cameras. In this newer version, as the time intervals are customisable, it's great for series selfies too!
The app currently only supports Panasonic cameras, including LUMIX. Further cameras may be added in future if I can get access to them.
Please note, the app will instruct the camera to take the pictures at the specified intervals, it will not actually build the time lapse video for you (though it might in the future!). There are many other ways to do this. The main point of this app is to bring the functionality that is missing to these devices. See the end of the video here for a couple samples.
Instructions for use
Set your camera up as you want, with the settings you need for taking the images. Make a connection to your camera as you would do normally. This can be by touching the camera to the bottom of the device, connecting to it's wifi etc. Just do whatever you normally would to connect the camera to your device as if you were using the factory supplied app. Launch the Intervalveometer. Make sure the correct IP address is shown on screen (you can check this in settings, about, status, IP address. You are only interested in the first 3 sets of digits. The camera will most likely be the same with a .1 at the end, i.e. 192.168.42.1). The app will show the IP address your device currently has. The camera is likely the same, but with .1 at the end. Click the 'Test' button to check connectivity to the camera. If all OK, set the parameters as needed and click 'Go!' to start taking your images.
If you have a problem with missed or irregularly timed images on smaller durations, you are probably trying to capture too fast for your camera to process the last images. Some of these cameras are fairly slow. <7 sec on some might not be long enough for the camera to process the request/image. This is a camera limitation. The speed the camera can process the images will depend on the camera settings, speed of your SD card, if you are storing RAW, etc. Play with it and find what works best for your camera.
Use your favourite app to combine your images into a wonderful time-lapse and be sure to share them with the world.
Confirmed working on
TZ-60
DMC-LF1
TZ-70
Others will be listed here as confirmed, but most Panasonic wifi cameras should work

By way of a stupid mistake, this App was originally referred to as 'Intervalveometer'. This has been corrected to Intervalometer. It is still the same app and the app name in the code remains (as I cannot easily change that)
The test version will take up to 5 images. This is to enable you to test it with your camera prior to purchase. If it does not work for any reason on your device, send me your logs and I will see if I can enable support in future versions. This likely only applies to Panasonic cameras unless I can get API info on other manufacturers devices. The test version on it's own is pretty good as a multi capture selfie app...
WAKE_LOCK is used to prevent your device sleeping (though the screen will still dim to save power), whilst the capture is occurring. It should be released once the capture is complete, or if you stop the capture.
