What does i-CASA do ?
i-CASA was developed based on visitor access control into a private housing Estate; condominiums and/or cluster housing in a gated community. It is integrated with the Security Officer Management System that provides regulated access into an Estate.
How does i-CASA work?
i-CASA requires the residents of the private housing community to download the application. The resident then prepares and register their guest/s, contractors, maids, etc. The information provided by the resident will be transmitted to the guardhouse and/or visitor registration kiosk. Hence, all intended visits for that particular day will be reflected and made known to the security officers on duty.
Upon the arrival of the guests, they will be required to scan their authentication that was received as a verification protocol for authorized entry into the estate. Hence, if there is no authorization information being provided, unannounced visitors will not be allowed to enter the estate. This is meant to enhance and regulate better security for both the resident and the estate.
The resident can also block their guests permanently and/or over a certain period. This ensures that their privacy remains secured. The security officers on the ground will observe and enforce the protocols so as to ensure proper regulation for visitor access.
How safe will the data be ?
Data protection is in accordance with PDPA's requirements. This is inclusive but not limited to current encryption features, robust firewalls and adhoc tests being conducted on the system. Accessibility of data for any legal/law enforcement requirement can only be handled by the appointed and authorized ADMIN.
