Designed by a teacher for parents and educators, Inside Voice monitors the noise level in your home or classroom.
In the free trial version you can set a noise limit. An alarm will sound and an on-screen alert will be displayed if the limit is exceeded.
In the full version(available through in-app purchase), Inside Voice includes 4 modes:
*Alert Mode*
Set a noise limit. If the limit is exceeded, an alert will notify you along with an optional alarm. This mode also allows you to set up to 3 warnings, with optional chimes, in order to give children the opportunity to self-correct their noise levels.
*Alert Mode 2*
Set a noise limit and a duration threshold of 1 to 5 seconds. If the noise level exceeds the limit and is sustained for the set duration, an alert will notify you along with an optional alarm.
*Counter Mode*
Set a noise limit. A counter will keep a running total each time the limit is exceeded.
*Point Challenge*
Set a noise limit. For every 6 consecutive seconds the noise levels stay below the limit, a point will be added to a running total. If the noise level goes above the limit, the 6-second timer will move backwards.
Both Counter and Point Challenge include a timer in order to keep track of your session length in order to help set goals with your kids.
