BlockerX is an effective porn blocker for Android phones. It can also act as a parental control app by helping you keep kids away from adult content. Porn sites / adult content sites are completely blocked across browsers, helping you stay away from adult content and stay productive. -Battery optimization: BlockerX runs some background tasks to work in order to block access to certain content. However, phone operating system, might kill background tasks and this might turn off the blocker from working. In order to prevent this from happening, kindly go to Battery optimization->BlockerX->Don’t optimize. This setting ensures that our background tasks work without issues.
-Task manager apps: If you’re using task manager apps, BlockerX’s background tasks might get killed by them. Kindly whitelist BlockerX on these apps for the best results.
Other important permissions required by the app:
-Accessibility services : This permission will provide information on the content that the user is trying to access and the blocker will block access if the content is adult/pornographic. This app uses the accessibility service permission (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE) in order to prevent accessing adult content websites.
-System alert window:
-This permission is needed to open up an alert window when a blocked website / app is opened. This helps in preventing opening of blocked content on your device. This app uses the system alert window permission (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) for this purpose.
