Outback is a modern platformer where you guide a robot through 50+ beautifully designed landscapes. Designed specifically for mobile devices, the controls are far simpler than pretty much every other mobile platform game: Just drag to aim. Then release to jump. Beautiful and intuitive, Outback is unlike any other of its kind.
Outback's initial prototype was built in 48 hours for the 39th Ludum Dare. Recieving 150+ postive reviews from other professionals in the game developement industry, in less than a week, the game became one of the jam's most popular entries.
[NOTE] : There may be some devices where this game runs slower than others. I'm really sorry but there isn't much of a solution to this at the present. I'll keep looking out for ways to reduce lag. :/
[ISSUE] : My game is showing up bigger than it should be...
The first time you open the game you might see the game larger than it should be. This is because the app wasn't able to properly calculate your device's DPI. If this does happen to you, you should close the app and reopen this. You may have to do this more than once. If this doesn't solve the issue, please feel free to contact me.
