MARS: Monument Augmented Reality Simulation app lets you visualise monuments using Augmented Reality and tests your knowledge with a fun quiz.
All you need to do is focus your phone camera in landscape mode and scan the name of the monument. You are then set to go on a virtual tour around the world as the monument comes to life in front of you. Explore the model from different angles by freely moving, scaling and rotating it. In order to make the experience more enriching, there is also supporting informative speech in the background.
The app also has a fun quiz to put your travel knowledge to test. So install the app and embark on this adventurous journey right away!
This project has been developed in 2019 by Sukriti Chaudhary and Kritika Bansal under Dipika Jain, Asst. Professor, Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi.
