The Functional Edge PT is located in Sandringham and Cheltenham, in Victoria. We're owned and operated by Peter Edgecombe, a highly qualified and sought after health professional since the early 90's. We specialise in functional strength and conditioning, weight loss, and martial arts training for health and self defence.
Our functional strength and conditioning services include options for one on one coaching, or small group training. Includes a variety of services such as TRX, Kettlebells, body tranformation programs, flexibility, postural correction, sports conditioning programs, Tai Chi and Qi Gong instruction, boxing, kickboxing, and Karate.
Our martial arts services are also headed by Peter Edgecombe Sensei 4th Dan Black Belt, in our Ronin Ryu Martial Arts Academy. Ronin Ryu is a mix of Shotokan and Goju Karate styles, focussed on a safe and comfortable environment for students to learn effective street style self defence. We also cater to junior school children aged 6 to 14, developing movement control, strength of character, and self discipline, all of which increases confidence and self esteem leading into the fundamentals of Karate.
