Seqwater’s public safety app will allow users to sign up to receive our dam release notifications and recreation and safety notices so that all visitors to our dams, lakes and parks play it safe.
The app’s use of background location updates is essential to keeping our visitors safe, allowing us to send real time notifications and alerts to app users where there may be potential hazards at our sites. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
