Maury County is approximately one hour south of Nashville ( Davidson County) off I-65 – depending on traffic patterns. We are about 30 minutes from Franklin/Williamson County where historic Carnton Plantation and the Carter House join Maury County’s story in the historic Hood’s Campaign of 1864 which led to the Battle of Franklin.
