Have you ever been to a nice place and when you told the story the following day, realized you had already forgot the place? or Have you been too drunk to tell the cab driver where to drop you off? or Have you had trouble locating your favorite band's gig location?
Rada brings you the ability to Save, Share and mark locations on a map to refer later. Unlike other maps & Navigation applications. Rada cuts to the chase and gets you there before you know it.
What is Rada?
Rada uses google maps to uniquely mark specific locations on the map and uses the information to draw precise short routes to the locations. The app has 4 main modules to date: Send & receive locations, Create and find unique beacons on the map and an Explore module to casually interact with the map, See places around you and GO.
Sending and receiving locations on Rada:
On Rada, Users can send locations by selecting a contact they wish to send it to, Adding a short message and touch send. Received locations will be found in the inbox screen.
Saving Locations on Rada:
Here users can save an unlimited number of locations. The locations will appear in the Places screen (access the menu by swiping right from the left edge). Use the action button at the bottom right of the screen to navigate to the save location screen. Here, add a name for the location such as 'School Library' and touch save.
Creating and finding location beacons on Rada:
A location beacon helps users track and route to a specific location pre-saved under a unique name or ID. Say, for example you have just organized your awesome party/event deep in the suburb and need to show your friends how to get there. While at the location. Navigate to the create beacon screen and save the location using a unique name - say, 'My Grad Party'. Share this unique beacon ID with your friends, who will then navigate to the find beacon screen. Here, enter the unique beacon name and get a short clean route to your friend's graduation party. Remember to keep private beacons private.
Explore the world with Rada:
In the explore screen, Search for a place and select it on the suggestions list and you will get a clean short route to the place.
Rada Addresses:
Rada addresses are simply permanent beacons. Mark a location you want as your address and just never delete it. Share the beacon name as your Rada address and help your friends, family or clients find you easily.
Bottom line:
Unlike other applications that will keep you on your phone trying hard to figure out what you are doing and where you are going, Rada is precise and focuses on getting you where you are going as fast as possible.
