Aroundsound is your place to capture the sounds of your life - sound recordings of your favourite people and places, stories, lessons, and experiences. We can’t stop time, but sound helps us to replay it and re-experience it, and share with others. Don’t worry if you’re new to sound recording - it’s never too soon to start experimenting, and Aroundsound will make it easy for you.
Even easier to share: Aroundsound gives you a unique link to share your sound recording with whom you choose.
Organise and invite: You can organise sounds into collections, and invite others to hear and contribute to your shared collection. Whenever you add something new, all members will be notified, and can comment and add their own sound recordings.
Want to quickly see the recordings shared with you? They are all saved in your incoming sounds collection.
Keep your sounds safe: sounds are securely backed up to cloud storage (we use Google cloud) and are accessible from any device.
Auto-capture location: the app will ask your permission to access your location information and add to your sounds, should you choose.
As a special offering for our early users, all features are currently available for free, including fair use of our cloud storage.
Many more developments are planned for this app, including more social sharing features, smarter browsing and organisation of your sounds, so check back for updates.
