You can select the word in alphabetical order (English meanings) by clicking “Word” in the menu bar. Basic everyday Vietnamese words!
Click on the "ABC" button in the menu bar, you can get the consonants and vowels. And there is "Tone" button in the menu bar. They are explained one by one.

There are over 75 million people who speak Vietnamese. Its vocabulary has many borrowings from Chinese. Viet means Canton (southern part of China) in Chinese, and Nam means south in Chinese. There are many accents of Vietnamese, like g, r, d, s, x, they sound different in different parts of Vietnam.
越南語又稱越語、京語及國語、越南文、安南語。
越南語是越南的國家語言，有85至90%的越南人將之作為母語，另外居住在海外的3百萬越僑、住在中國廣西的京族亦使用越南語。歷史上，越南語曾經使用漢字與喃字表記（即漢喃文），現代則使用以拉丁字母為基礎，添加若干個新字母及聲調符號的國語字書寫。越南語屬南亞語系，孟-高棉語族，越-芒語支。
