You can search for beaches by beach features, including: Accessibility, Barbecues, Boat Rentals, Campfires, Campsites Nearby, Fishing Nearby, Food Concessions, Group Facilities, Overnight Parking, Paddleboard/Kayak, Jet Ski Rentals, Pets OK, Picnic Tables, Playground, Public Bathrooms, Public Transit Nearby, Shade Available, Showers and Volleyball Courts.
Each beach has its own profile with helpful information such as: photos, hours of operation, parking info, contact info, nearby transit, directions, ways to help take care of the environment and a full beach description.

The Fund focuses grants on the core areas of conservation, recreation and education/stewardship.
The Tahoe Beaches app is funded in part by fees from Lake Tahoe license plates. 96% of Tahoe license plate fees are used to help fund biking and hiking trails as well as water quality and restoration projects in the Lake Tahoe.
