Orientation Week Leiden (OWL) is one of the three introduction week by Leiden University. The week that takes place in August, before the beginning of the academic year. It is organised for international students whose study programmes will take place in Leiden.
In 2020, the OWL will include both physical and virtual activities.
This app will be a road-map for the students during the week. It entails the virtual and physical schedule, programme descriptions and links to join the virtual activities.
People who download the app can sign up for programme parts, watch online events and chat with their peers to find new friends.
OWL introduces students to their faculties, the student associations and the Dutch student life in general.
The week was first held in 2013 and since then, more than 1000 students each year launch their new journey in the Netherlands at OWL.
This year, despite recent events, the university still provides the OWL experience that will give you a head start into your studies at Leiden University.
