Aim of the Project
The android application, Digital Vehicle Entry Log System, is aimed for the security guards, through which they can record the vehicles, entered into the building and also will be able to keep track of their entry time. This app will have OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to detect text from images for storing the vehicle’s number plate.
Objective of the Project
The app will have the following objectives-
The app will have two primary users – Admin and Security Guard
At the time of registration, each building will have only one admin, under which there will be many security guards.
Each security guard will scan the number plate of the vehicles using camera during their particular timeslot.
The detected number plate from the scanned image will be stored as a record with the timestamp in the database.
The following additional information of the driver– name, address, phone no., will also be stored manually by the user during the time of scanning the number plate.
The admin of the particular building will be able to see the vehicle entries of that building only, and the entries will be shown under each security guard
