Phenomenal Fitness personal training is based on the Phenomenal Pillars of Physical Development, the essential components of physical fitness and wellness, which work together to help you look good and feel great; stability, strength, mobility, and resilience.
The Phenomenal Pillars of Physical Development is a systematic, four-component training program that focuses on the development of Structural Integrity by using Movement Skills to increase Work Capacity to improve Body Composition.
Structural Integrity – body posture and alignment, along with development of the proper amount of mobility and stability in and at the joints to improve function, longevity and overall youthfulness. Special attention is placed on the foot, hips, core and shoulder areas as integrated, muscle groups.
Movement Skills – the use of integrated, multi-joint movements done for reps or time with strategically placed rest periods to enhance stamina, mental and physical resilience. Work capacity is enhanced by our age and fitness-level appropriate training sessions.
Body Composition – the reduction of body fat and an increase of muscle in all the right places for the “right” reasons. We utilize a variety of tools and methods including, nutrition and lifestyle coaching to create the ideal body composition for each client.
The Phenomenal Pillars of Physical Development addresses what is often the root cause of tissue trauma and poor joint function (absent and accident or collision) – chronic sitting and repetitive movements. Chronic sitting and repetitive movements can alter muscle characteristics and adversely affect joint position and function, which can lead to muscle imbalances (tight over-used muscles and elongated low force producing muscles). Muscle imbalances can result in unstable, non-functioning joints.
At Phenomenal Fitness, our expert trainers will utilize the Phenomenal Pillars of Physical Development to create an individualized fitness program with complimentary nutritional direction to combat the root cause of tissue trauma and poor joint function.
The first step is to assess each client’s needs by reviewing physical history, current activities, and desired outcomes in order to create a customized movement-based approach that will enhance each client’s health, functional movement, fitness performance and ultimately, appearance.
Using the Phenomenal Pillars of Physical Development, the Phenomenal Fitness trainers will lead and guide you to achieve the results you want and will provide the strategies you need to optimize your health and make you look, feel and perform your very best.
