Before you buy, look for what you want in the application and it is possible that a friend or family member can lend it to you.
Easily keep an inventory of your stuff by putting it in "virtual boxes" and sharing those boxes with your friends and family. This is more easily understood with a practical example: take a photo of a book, give it a name and description, label it as a book and put it in a "virtual box" called "living room" and another called "family", share the virtual box through any means (chat, email, etc.). The people you have shared it with will be able to see the book you have and ask you for it.
And of course, they will be able to share their things with you and before buying anything, you will be able to look for it among what people have shared with you and ask that person to lend it to you.
